A stunning modern, recently renovated semi-detached house in a desirable area of Bath, accommodating up to 16 guests. The open plan kitchen has a beautiful glazed roof filling the space with natural light and a generous island from which to prepare meals and sit at the bar. The open plan living space allows for plenty of room for entertaining, with Sonos speakers to listen to your favourite tunes, or you can watch your favourite streaming services on the TV in one of two reception rooms. The ground floor boasts underfloor heating making for a comfortable warmth underfoot. For the summer months, the kitchen has bi fold doors taking you to a patio area and a sunny raised garden in which to relax and entertain. The accommodation has a double driveway for two cars and upon agreement we can provide extra parking with a permit along the beautiful residential road. There is an EV charger for a small additional fee upon arrangement. Situated in the quiet, popular area of Bath known as Bear Flat, the accommodation is only a 15 minute walk into the city centre. There are numerous amenities within a three minute walk including a Gastro pub, The Bear, the Co-op, Cook, Majestic wine and the popular Good Bear Cafe, not to mention the Michelin star restaurant Menu Gordon Jones. For outdoor excursions, we are a 13 minute walk to Alexandra Park and 7 minutes to the Two Tunnels path. We allow well behaved dogs provided they stay downstairs and off soft furnishings. Guests have access to the whole house and garden. There is a key safe to access the private entrance door and a code on the side alley gate. There is parking for two cars on the double driveway. We are available to contact through the Airbnb app any time of night or day - please reach out with any queries you have. Located in Bear Flat, a desirable residential area of Bath only a 15 minute walk to town. The property is situated on a quiet, leafy street lined with semi-detatched family homes with ample on-street parking (free parking permits are available on request). Within a 4 minute walk you will find a stylish gastro pub, the Bear Inn, the highly popular Good Bear cafe, an Italian bakery, co-op convenience store, a Cook shop for up-market pre prepared meals and Majectic wine shop. For families, we are very close to Bloomfield Park with a play area and large outdoor space for ball games or dogs to exercise. Alongside this is the Two Tunnels path which takes you through the countryside to Bristol. Along the path you can take a detour to Moorland Road which has further cafes and local amenities as well as Sandpits park. Alexandra Park is a short uphill walk and provides spectacular views across Bath - worth the walk! There is a play area at the top, and if you are lucky, a popular choux bun truck for an indulgent treat. Local buses run from outside the Bear Inn, taking you to town or further afield. Bath Spa train station and Bus station are a 20 minute and 18 minute walk respectively. Taxis are readily available - we recommend using Uber or Veezu. This is not a party house, however well behaved hen or stag parties are welcome. The building is in a residential area, so all guests need to be respectful to both the space and neighbours. Please keep noise to a minimum between 11pm - 8am. The EV charger is available at a small charge with advance request. Please do not allow pets on the sofas or upstairs. Please supervise children on the play equipment. We cannot take responsibility when using the equipment.
